Raffaella Campaner

 

Raffaella Campaner is currently Full Professor of Logic and Philosophy of Science at the University of Bologna. She graduated (1996) and obtained a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Trieste (2000). She also obtained a Master – MLitt in Philosophy at the University of St. Andrews, and has been Life Member of Clare Hall College, Cambridge (UK) since 2019. Her research addresses topics in the philosophy of science and, more specifically, philosophy of medicine. Her interests include philosophical views of scientific explanation, conceptions of causation, scientific models. Her most recent research focuses on issues in the philosophy of psychiatry. She has authored and co-authored various volumes, book chapters and several peer-reviewed articles published in international scientific journals.
