Argumenta – Journal of Analytic Philosophy

SIFA

The Italian Society for Analytic Philosophy (SIFA) was founded in 1992 in close collaboration with the European Society for Analytic Philosophy (ESAP). Its aim is that of promoting the exchange of ideas among scholars in analytic philosophy from the whole of Europe and the rest of the world.

On alternate years SIFA organizes a general international conference open to scholars working in any field of interest for analytic philosophy (including philosophy of language, moral philosophy, philosophy of science, metaphysics, logic, aesthetics, political and legal philosophy, and so on), and a conference on a more specific topic.

The number of SIFA members has increased over the years, and today the society has about 500 members.
