Argumenta is the Journal of the Italian Society for Analytic Philosophy (SIFA) and is published by the University of Sassari, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences. The University of Sassari is the owner of the copyright of the journal, while SIFA is the licensee for all editorial activities.

Relationships among Argumenta and authors/users are regulated as follows:

  1. Argumenta is an open access web journal: people using the website may not only view, reproduce or store copies of articles, but they are also free to distribute articles as guaranteed by the following license: Creative Commons by-nc-nd.
  2. Any uses and/or copies of this Journal in whole or in part must include the customary bibliographic citation, including author attribution, date, article title, journal title, and URL, and must include a copy of this copyright notice.
  3. Communications with the editorial office, as well as accounts and/or passwords, are personal and must not be shared.
  4. Anyone, while submitting a paper, will be requested to declare to be the author and that the paper is original, non contrasting with law or morality, and never published before; this will be a formal declaration, and the author will be responsible for any false or mendacious information. In case of violations, he/she may be prosecuted according to the Italian law.
  5. Argumenta guarantees and protects the author’s intellectual property of the articles submitted, and only acquires editorial rights.
  6. Cooperation with authors and academic institutions is a core part of the Argumenta objective to encourage the widest possible dissemination of the journal content. The editor offers the possibility to obtain permissions to meet the needs of institutions and publishers worldwide if they do not contrast with this copyright notice, morality or law.

Permissions

Permission for commercial reuse or republication of Argumenta articles, abstracts, or figures, can be granted upon permission. The fastest and most efficient way to obtain permission to reuse Argumenta contents for commercial purposes is by contacting the editorial office (editor@argumenta.org).
