Alessio Tacca is a researcher at the University School for Advanced Studies IUSS Pavia. He received a PhD in Philosophy from the University of New South Wales, Australia, in 2019. Afterwards, he was an Associate Lecturer at the University of Tasmania. His main interests include epistemology, philosophy of artificial intelligence, and philosophy of mind. His research focuses on trust in AI, epistemic dependence, scepticism, disagreement, and epistemic authority. He is currently working on several research projects concerning trust and trustworthiness in AI.
