Andrea Borghini

 

Andrea Borghini is Associate Professor in the Philosophy Department at the Università degli Studi di Milano, Italy, and coordinates Culinary Mind, an international centre for the philosophy of food. He was previously Associate Professor of Philosophy at the College of the Holy Cross, USA, and held several visiting appointments, including Bryn Mawr College and SUNY Buffalo. His current research employs the tools of analytic metaphysics and philosophy of science to explore pressing issues pertaining to food production, consumption, and representation, such as food biodiversity, geographical indications, food labeling, hunger, eating disorders, and the ethics and politics of dieting.
