Caterina Di Maio

 

Caterina Di Maio is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Naples “L’Orientale.” Her main research interests focus on the philosophy of action, philosophy of language, philosophy of psychology, and cognitive psychology. Her current research is centered around practical rationality, decision theory, and the role of intention in practical reasoning. She completed her Ph.D. in philosophy at the University of Naples “L’Orientale” and was a visiting Ph.D. candidate at the University of Valencia under the supervision of Professor Carlos Moya, where she was also a team member of the Phronesis group. Additionally, she holds a master’s degree in Neuroscience from the University of Valencia, where she conducted research from an experimental perspective. Currently, she is working on a book that explores the role of intentions in action theory.
