Argumenta – Journal of Analytic Philosophy

Giulia Casini

Giulia Casini earned her BA and MA at the University of Trieste, Italy, and is currently a PhD candidate in Philosophy at the University of Sheffield, UK. She works in philosophy of language and logic, but she is also generally interested in modal metaphysics. Her main interest at present is the metaphysics behind the semantics of counterfactual, and her project investigates whether the potentiality-based account of modality developed by Barbara Vetter can provide a valid alternative to the possible world account of counterfactuals.
