Giuseppe Lo Dico

 

Giuseppe Lo Dico is a Professore a contratto (professor with a temporary appointment for a given course or lecture series) in philosophy of psychology at the Catholic University of Milan and Brescia, Italy. He also trained as a clinical developmental psychologist at the Istituto PSIBA of Milan. His research interests range from the philosophical foundations of experimental psychology to the epistemological status of psychoanalysis and the issue of reliability of the introspective method. Two of his most recent publications are: “Self-Perception Theory, Radical Behaviourism, and the Publicity/Privacy Issue” in Review of Philosophy and Psychology (2018) and “Freud’s Psychoanalysis, Contemporary Cognitive/Social Psychology, and the Case Against Introspection” in Theory & Psychology (2018).
