Gloria Zuccarelli is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Piemonte Orientale. Her main research interests are migration ethics, forced migration, smuggling, individual responsibility towards refugees and gender-based harm. Another current line of research concerns issues of intergenerational justice as she is part of the project ‘Age-It: Ageing individuals in an ageing society’. She was recently a visiting researcher at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Princeton. She completed her Ph.D. at the University of Milan in 2022 on forced migrant women and injustice and was a visiting student at the University of Southampton (UK) under the supervision of Prof. David Owen. She recently published an article on Political Philosophy.
