Lorenzo Azzano

Lorenzo Azzano is PhD student at the SNS (Pisa) and is currently writing a dissertation on the metaphysics of dispositions –with a particular emphasis on the relational elements of dispositionality and meta-ontological issues regarding the whole debate between “friends” and “foes” of dispositions. Azzano came to dispositions from modal ontology, as the main topic of his MA dissertation was the conditional analysis of dispositions (2013, Vita-Salute San Raffaele, Milan) under the supervision of Andrea Bottani. Azzano has been a visiting student at the Nottingham University throughout 2015 and 2016, under the supervision of Stephen Mumford.
