Patrizia Pedrini is Associate Professor of Theoretical Philosophy at Department of Social, Political, and Cognitive Sciences (DISPOC), University of Siena, Italy. She is the author of two monographs, one on self-knowldge (Prima persona. Epistemologia dell’autoconoscenza, ETS, Pisa 2009), and the other one on self-deception (L’autoinganno. Che cos’è e come funziona, Laterza, Roma-Bari 2013). She co-edited with Julie Kirsch Third-Person Self-Knowledge, Self-Interpretation, and Narrative, Springer 2018. Her research interests mainly focus on philosophy of mind, philosophy of psychology, philosophy of psychiatry, and epistemology, but she also taught ethics and bioethics.
